Screen Time's Hidden Dangers for Kids' Hearts
As the world becomes increasingly digital, concerns about the impact of screen time on children’s health are growing. A recent study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association found that excessive screen time among children and teens may lead to increased risks of heart and metabolic problems. This move reflects broader industry trends, where the lines between screen time and physical activity are becoming increasingly blurred. The study, which analyzed data from over 1,000 participants in Denmark, revealed a clear connection between recreational screen time and higher cardiometabolic risk scores.
